Back in the Valley

Let the wife make the husband glad to come home,
and let him make her sorry to see him leave.
Martin Luther (1483 - 1546)

My wife and children were glad to see me come back down the mountain. The mountain top is a good place to get your bearings, see where you are, and where you need to go, but life is lived in the valleys and I wouldn't change that for anything.

I cannot and will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is
neither right nor safe. Here I stand, I can do no other, so help me God. Amen.
Martin Luther (1483 - 1546)
