Are You My Friend?

The two kindergartner girls were strolling toward the playground.  Running to catch up, a third child grabbed their arms and said in the saddest voice, "Are you my friend? Are you my friend?"

The two girls replied, "Yes, we're your friend. Can you let go our arms."
